They can get away with just about anything on Televison shows anymore.....like teaching kids it is ok to steal and have sex,,,,,,,kids do not need to be learning about sex at young ages.I just think that is wrong.The television shows also have cussing sometimes in them......kids do not need to hear that bad language on televison shows.....if they do not get it from their parents then they are getting it from television shows and society. I think that is not right....cussing or sexual gestures should not be used on local television. :tv:

if you don't want your little one watching something dirty, buy yourself a v-chip and leave those of us who are adults alone. Some of us don't want everything being kid-friendly in hours when children should be sleeping.

Kids learn more about sex, violence and cussing through their school friends than from tv!

Come on guys can't you say something nice,no wonder why people leave AND NEVER COME back,people are very negitive here. Let people say what they wantto say and if you don't like what they say then don't say nothing at all. I am getting tired of all this negtive additude to new comers here. I may have to find me a new home and stop coming here. I am very dissapointed with these replyes.

I agree with you. I think there is WAY too much violence, profanity, crude jokes and sex in TV, movies, and music. I'm not saying that everything should be 100% kid-friendly, but I would like to see more intelligent content and good moral values in entertainment.

well, Pooh said it to hear people's responces. And the responce most of us have is "if you don't wanna watch it, change the channel". People who are 30 and either don't have children or have children and are in bed by 10 or 11 don't necessarily wanna watch Full House, 7th Heaven and Lizzie Maguire for themselves in the late hours. If you really don't want your kids to watch The Sopranos or Queer As Folk, set the password block when those shows come on, it's not like 20 years ago when parents didn't have options.

I agree, people with children should get a blocker or don't even get Showtime,HBO,ETC, but somehow they will evegeley(spelld wrong) will find out out it is sooner or later. You can't protect your kids for ever now.

Parents have always had this little option called WATCH THE SHOW WITH YOUR KIDS. Gah...some parents are so damn lazy nowadays. Hell, to tel you the truth, my grandparents really didn't have to worry about the TV with my parents because they spent all their time outside or playing at a friend's house. My dad and uncles were never home because they were out with the neighbor kids. More parents should send their kids to the backyard.
