I just re-watched the first Brady Bunch movie made in 1995 on Trio this afternoon, and it still cracks me up to this day! I thought the movie was SOOOO funny! I loved how they combined a lot of plotlines from popular episodes (Johnny Bravo, The "something suddenly came up", Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, etc.) and put them into the movie! I could NOT stop laughing! It was also cool how Barry, Florence, and Ann guest starred in the movie!
So my question to you is did you like the Brady Bunch movie and A Very Brady Sequel? I obviously LOVED them, and thought they were hillarious!

By the way, Christine Taylor was BORN to play Marcia! How alike do they look? Honestly! I thought the whole cast did a great job, although nobody could possibly replace the real Brady's!

Yes...I thought both movies were great. The last one however (Bradys in the White House) was just plain awful. If you haven't seen it yet, don't waste your time.

Was it released in theaters? I don't think I have ever heard of it!

It was a made-for-TV movie. It starred Mike and Carol from the movies, but the rest of the cast was different (for the worst I might add). But the ridiculous story-line, along with no funny jokes, is what really killed the film.

I liked all 3 of the Brady Bunch movies. The Brady Bunch in the White House
was on tv. It was never in the theaters. Its more of a parody.

I loved both of the (theatrical release) movies as well...

So many great parodies of episodes in those movies... I think it was in the B B Movie when Marcia gets hit with the football... they had the kid who played Peter throw the football with his left hand (Chris Knight was left-handed), and it looked so funny, because the new Peter was a natural righty... he threw it, if you'll pardon the expression, like a girl...hysterical!

The movies were very well cast, I thought... that girl was certainly born to play Marcia... and I thought that Gary Cole (is that his first name, Gary?) did an awesome job playing Mike... the way he talked on the phone..."uh huh...uh huh... mmmm hmmm..." Just like Mike would have done it...

I loved how annoyed Mr. Dittmeyer and his kids got at Cindy, and how naieve Cindy was about the whole thing...

And when Davy Jones showed up at the dance, and none of the kids had a clue who he was, but the teachers were knocking each other over to get up close to the stage where Davy was performing...

I love those movies!!

Another great scene in the first BB Movie was when the new "Greg" auditioned his song at the studio ("Clowns Never Laughed Before...")...and the producer was none other than Barry Williams... Barry's looking at the sheet music for the song...he like "clowns...beanstalks....what the hell IS this?". That was awesome! I'm sure they had to shoot that scene a few times, just from Barry cracking up!

Yeah i loved both "The Brady Bunch Movie" & "A Very Brady Sequel", but hated the Brady's in the white house movie. Thought it was plain silly. The actors from the first two movies were GREAT! The actress who played Jan was just hialrious!!

Some quotes from the first two movies;

Jan: WOW, i really did make a SPLASH!!

Greg: Well, hey there groovy chick, you really got it going in a far out kinda way!

Carol: Oh Alice, what would we do without you?
Alice: Probably eat out!

Peter: Dad, im ready to go back to work with you.... Archetects kick Bu...
Mike: PETER!!!
Peter: I mean.... Archetects are NEATO!!

Gary Cole's impersonation of Mike Brady is great. I like the first two movies. The third one wasn't quite as funny. I think some of the younger actors may have graduated to play the older siblings in this one but I may be mistaken.

Normally I like Shelly Long but I've never liked her impersonation of Carol Brady. She doesn't sound anything like her.

I liked both of the theatrical Brady movies, but I fell asleep watching Bradys In the White House and had no interest to see what I missed. I thought a Very Brady Sequel was much better than the first movie and I loved the Gilligan's Island Tie-In!
