I know that it was explained that Selma died when Flo replaced her, but was it explained that Flo died when Roz replaced her?

It was mentioned that she died but it didn't say how.

In the episode where Harry finds out his mother is dead, he explains his capacity of feeling loss when Christine questions him by saying, "When Selma died, I felt loss. When Florence died I felt loss..." So Florence's death was mentioned but it never mentioned how.

Strange that Christine would mention Selma. I didn't think that their characters were on the show together that long.

Harry was the one who said that to Christine.

Sorry I was unclear about that. What I should have said was that Christine questioned Harry about his ability to be uncapable of feeling loss and then Harry responded with the quote mentioned.

Did Markie do any eps with Selma? I know she snuck in there for Flo, but I wanna say in the one that Post did before leaving to go back to Fall Guy, Selma was in it.

I'm sure Flo Hallop just died of natural causes. We all know Selma smoked too much, but I think even on Cheers after the Coach dies there's no ep concerning it, its mentioned but never shown.

I don't believe Christine ever met Selma, When she joined the group Flo was the baliff. Wasn't it said that one of them had cancer, it was an episode when Bull was morning the lost of one of them.

You are corect. Christine did meet Selma when she appeared in the courtroom for the first time "subbing". The episode was entitled "Daddy for Thw Defense" and it was Markie's first appearance on the show.

To answer someone else's question, Florence Halop also passed away from cancer, but it was not addressed as to how she passed away on the show. I think her death happened either right before production or during production. For this reason, there had been no time to address her death like they could with Selma Diamond's.

Well I'm sure Brandon Whatakoff or a higher up at NBC said "All right, no more under 60 bailiffs on this show" and went with Warfield. Much like the Coach on Cheers, they did not replace him with an equally older guy.

I hate to say it, but if I were a higher up at NBC, I believe that I would have said the same thing.
