Ok, so as the audience of Wings we actually got to see first hand that Joe wasn't "imagining" the events that played out with Sandy Cooper...but if you were there in Nantucket at the airport, and knew Joe and the rest of the gang personally would you believe him or go on the side of everyone else, thinking he was crazy?

Keep in mind, his father was institutionalized....that's one reason why they didn't believe him....

Personally, I'd believe Joe. He was never one to make up stories and joke around a lot and play pranks like Brian....it'd be hard but if I was his friend I'd back him up. :D

Same here. I wouldn't believe him but I wouldnt mock him like the others. I'd be like if you can show me proof, otherwise I'd shake my head and walk away. I've been in work situations where someone was trying to convince a group of people someone else was stealing, and tried desperately to have us in the vicinity when the person did, to no avail. We'd walk away like "We'll keep watching with you, but until there's proof..." The Wings gang loved to tease Joe about it. But of course, thats what made it a good ep :)

If was Brian, I would have my doubts, but not for Joe.

I think that this was the best episode of Wings, when she is trying to make Joe think he's crazy. Remeber when Sandy hangs a teddy bear in a noose in Joe's office?, then refers to him as "JoeyBear". I love Joeybear. Then at the end of the show as she slips into full-swing psycho, he offers her a thorazine big gulp.

Sandy was def. over-the-top, but Joe doesn't exactly have a history of playing jokes or anything like that. I think I'd believe him, eventually. At first it might be hard to believe, but Joe was pretty insistent, so I think I would have to side with him after a while.

I forget, does the group eventually find out that Sandy's crazy?

And to answer the question, I might not believe him. Not at first. Maybe after a couple years, when he was still going on about it and clearly looked scared to be around her.

But what the heck would I be doing hanging out with that gang? They are way too cool for me. :( .......... ;)

I'm 90% sure they never figured it out. Sandy was always "normal" around the gang. Only Joe ever saw her weird side. Not counting us, of course. hehe. ;)

They never did find out the truth about Sandy. I thought it would have been nice if they did.
