Can anybody help me, I don't know my history too well.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the idea that the CIA "put" drugs into the ghetto in the late 50's or 60's. There is some connection with the Mafia (Mob) and of course Italy. It was probably something said at a time when this was a hot topic of the times. It really sucks if you watch a show in syndication and it was filmed in a different time or era and things are said on the show that one doesn't understand. I for one love "I Love Lucy". But I began watching it in syndication when I was 7 and so alot of things said, I didn't understand. I of course do now, but it can be difficult. You can probably research my theory abt the drugs or maybe somebody else will post some ideas on your question.

Exactly, the CIA which is the American spy department, was known to do things and help others do illegal dealings in order to get rid of a certain ruler, person or dictator of a country, for instance they have tried for years to kill Castro by using the CIA, they tried to use exploding cigars or other types of poison to kill Castro. The Bay of Pigs is one of the most famous example of the CIA in action. Which is why they are trying now to distance themselves from what Pat Robertson said, because although the US gov't has outlawed such actions, it still goes on. And the FBI is the domestic version of this group, remember under J. Edgar Hoover the FBI was notrious for doing all kinds of things and having personal information on people to blackmail them, they bugged Martin Luther King, Jr. and tried to call him a communist. And if you remember from the movie Malcolm X they followed Malcolm to the Middle East to monitor his movements, and there are some who think they had something to do with both Malcolm and Martin's murders.
