I used to use Norton, until today, when my brother told me that McAfee works well on his computer. I scanned my computer last night and Norton said that I didnt have any viruses, trojans, etc. I got McAfee today, and it said that I had 67 Trojans..Luckily, they're all deleted :D

I have Mcafee and Lavasoft Ad-Ware. When I use Mcafee, it says maybe a few things, but when I use Lava right after, BOY, IT SHOWS ALOT OF STUFF!!!!!! I used to have Norton...what a piece of crap that was. Lava is my choice. But Mcafee is good too for the fact it catches things right on the spot while Lava has to be turned on to scan when you want it to scan.

I have McAfee Stinger, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, and Ad-Aware. I also have a Registry Mechanic, which is a registry cleaner, so I don't have to do it manually.

And just for the record, I hate Norton.

Lavasoft's AdAware is NOT an antivirus program, it is for spyware only - so you need to keep using your McAfee

any antivirus program is only as good as you let it be - that means keep it up-to-date and make sure that it is configured properly.

I uninstalled Norton before I downloaded McAfee. And, those trojans never even showed up on Norton. McAfee had to delete them for me.

I use Norton Anti Virus 9 at work and 8 at home. When I rebuild my machine, I'll update to version 9 soon.
