In the season one opening credits, during the "Solved" montage, there is a scene of two men in black ski masks and military fatigues running into a store(?) brandishing shotguns. Anyone know what episode this scene was lifted from?

My guess is that it was from the segment about Leo Joseph Koury, who was wanted for racketeering and murder. The segment reenacted a 1977 incident in which a couple of men in ski masks entered a bar, and began shooting at the customers, killing one of them.

I still remember the Koury case, which was featured on America's Most Wanted, in addition to UM. Leo Koury was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List until 1991, when the FBI received a tip that he had just died. Koury was under an alias, but the FBI managed to positively identify him as Leo Joseph Koury.

I recently acquired a segment which is, I believe, what you're talking about. It was about a team dubbed the "grocery robbers" and they had hit numerous stores in the Pacific Northwest. I just watched the segment and they are in military fatigues and ski masks brandishing guns.

I remember that particular segment, even though (to the best of my knowledge) it was never rerun on Lifetime. However, the "grocery robbers" segment was shown on UM during the show's sixth season (the 1993-94 season).
