View Full Version : NewsRadio Better Not Be Airing in Syndication Still? Brett Ferino 03-05-2001, 12:04 AM I was recently at a website for a local UPN station in Florida and it says that NewsRadio is coming back by popular demand. Is it true it is still airing in syndie? theshark8777 03-05-2001, 08:17 AM I donno, it is on A&E. Pavan 03-05-2001, 10:17 AM It is on a lot of locals still....A&E cable airs it at 12:30 and 6:30PM Weekdays. factsoflife 03-06-2001, 03:32 PM i think it is still in syndication.. it airs on my local WNCA TV eveyday at like 2pm. Brett Ferino 03-11-2001, 06:33 PM It was airing for a long time here in Philly on WTXF-TV 29. It does not anymore. I think A and E's rights to the show are not exclusive.. Goob 04-16-2001, 04:06 PM Fox 25 in Boston Airs it at 6:00pm EST, which is perfect because then it is one A&E at 6:30, too bad they replaced the 11:30 pm est viewing of it on FOX with drew carey. Brett Ferino 04-28-2001, 09:00 PM Is it true that the rights for A&E and NR arent exclusive? Freakzilla 04-28-2001, 10:21 PM It is true that NR is not exclusively on A&E. Each show that reaches syndication has 2 different sets of rights. One is the broadcast rights, which give local stations the rights to air episodes of a series. The other is the cable rights, which let cable networks air reruns. A&E owns the cable rights to NR, but local stations can still show it. |
