View Full Version : Gary Coleman and Robert Gulliame
TVFactFan 08-23-2005, 02:48 PM When I was in the store today, I read the back of the Good times DVD season 5 and they mentioned the actors Gary Coleman and Robert Gullliame to try and hook customers to buy the DVD-lol It said something like-"you will see apperances from Gary Coleman and Robert Guilliame in this season which is proof that season 5 was AWFUL-lol
nerrad 08-23-2005, 03:02 PM At that time, Gary Coleman was worse than Dee with his smart ass mouth.

Yet he was cute, and a few yrs later he and Janet were back working with each other in Diff'rent Strokes.

I don;t he know why they were mentioned, it's not like they appeared more than once like Kim fields in season 6

Grade for season 5-D+ The only thing that saved it from being a F was-"United we stand, united we fall, were tighter than pantyhoses two sizes small"-lol

If that is what is saving the season for you, then you must think it is really bad.

JeffRuss1972 08-25-2005, 08:17 PM I liked the 4 part "Evans Get Involved" episodes concerning child abuse. I thought they were very well done & entertaining.

I will never understand why a NEW CAST member had a 4 part storyline revolve around her. Made no sense to me at all
JeffRuss1972 08-26-2005, 04:22 PM Probably to try and distract people from the fact that Florida was not there. I guess that's the only way they could

James"Thunder"Early 08-26-2005, 04:36 PM I thought season 5 was good at parts. I like the episode where the couch get burned and they all tell different stories and the one with the talent show for the daycare center. I'm probably in the minority, but I think season six was really good.

One thing we do know, Season 6 was defintely better than season 5. I think INTERNS wrote the episodes for Season 5-lol

I think season 6 was crap. And I'm still gonna get the dvd just to have all the episodes.

I am sure the fact that the actress was the sister of superstar Michael Jackson was heavily publicized at the time. I remember liking these episode when I was a kid, I haven't seen them since. One time TBS ran them all together as though they were a movie one afternoon and titled it, "The Evans Get Involved."
