Just for fun here - it's not as if any of this stuff matters!

I've been watching season one again, and I've noticed a couple of things. In The Draft, Ricky says that he and Lucy moved into the flat in 1948. That means they've been there for three years. In Breaking The Lease they say that they've been there for five years, and in The Girls Want To Go To A Nightclub (I think that's the one) they say that they've been there for nine years! ;)

Maybe the scriptwriters were all too busy giggling to notice!

Yeah, they definitely had a problem with continuity. Ethels middle name changes about 10 times too (I exagerate-maybe 3 times). And what about Butch the dog? 3 seasons later, dogs aren't allowed.

Ethel drives to the camp site to help Lucy in episode 64-The Camping Trip. Lucy gives Ethel a driving lesson in episode 109-Lucy Learns To Drive.

And even before the issue with Little Ricky's dog and the "No pets" clause, wasn't it said that Mrs. Trumble had a cat? That is, the cat for which she asked Lucy to buy "Can All Pet," the note of which Ricky confused to mean Lucy was playing the market and had an inspiration to buy Canadian Allied Petroleum.
