Just letting you guys know I started a Lucy Photobucket album with some great, rare, Lucille Ball pictures. There's some EXTREMELY rare COLOR pictures from the hey-day of "I Love Lucy"! There's also some great ones from the sixties & seventies, including some from the set of "The Lucy Show," Lucille Ball's 1966's TV special, "Lucy in London," a few from the set of "Here's Lucy" and some from the set of Lucille Ball's 1974 musical spectical, "Mame." And almost all of them are in full color! And I just added a TON of "The Lucy Show" & "Here's Lucy" screen caps.

Awesome album! Have you ever taken any screen caps from Lucy DVDs? I understand that on one of the "Here's Lucy DVD" extras, Desi Sr. is shown walking in, and I'm just dying to see some screen caps of that.

Thanks, Jess. I have taken some screen caps from the Lucy DVDs when people have requested me to do so at the Lucy Lounge (like Liz & Karen). I did take a couple of screen caps of Desi Sr. walking in on the rehersal footage. I'll post some here for sure, but I'm not sure when. BTW, have you seen the footage w/ Desi Sr. on the "Here's Lucy" DVDs?

Also, if anyone wants to use any of the pictures in my album for a message board avatar or save it as your desktop wallpaper, feel free to do whatever you want with them. :)

Oh, I never posted the Desi Sr. screen caps, Karen. I had them ready to post when we were talking about the footage of Desi coming on the set (possibly the Sammy Davis, Jr. blooper thread I started), but I never posted em.

No, I haven't seen the footage, but I would REALLY like to. The thing is, I'm not much of a "Here's Lucy" fan and wouldn't buy the DVD just so I could see a quick clip of Desi walking into the room. So I'm settling for screen caps. I just like seeing pics of Desi post-ILL since they are pretty rare.
