I saw an ad for the Simpsons season premiere during last night's rerun. New season starts on September 11. When was the last time they started this early? Maybe we'll even see the Halloween special before Halloween.

Looking at TV.com it was Season 11, Beyond Blunderdome, the episode where Homer helped Mel Gibson "fix" his move Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. But from what I see there will be 2 new episodes in September followed by a break in October for Baseball and then it will start back up the first Sunday in November with the Treehouse of Horror episode. So still no Treehouse before Halloween unless they air out of order

I know!! We usually have to wait until early November for new episodes. It seemed like with the older episodes.. We'd get new ones as early as in the middle of August.

I think baseball should go back to NBC and they should have the Simpsons air through November. They could just *gasp* go off their rocker and air the Halloween episode **On** Halloween.
