You know what, when the first season came out I pre-ordered it at Amazon.com, and I didn't get it until a month and a half after it came out. I was like, why did I need to pre-order it to get it a month and a half later. :confused:

That same thing happened to me on amazon.

I ordered Sanford and Son Season 5, which was released on September 14. I received it I think it was November 6.

I think everybody should just go to the store and buy it. I don;t see the purpose of ordering a DVD online when you can just buy it from the stores. I only buy things on online that are not in the store.

I order from amazon.com numerous times and have never had to wait that long for a delivery.

They aren't going to ship it until the day it's released or the day before. Like if I preordered That's my mama three weeks ago, they still wouldn't ship it out until this past Monday or Tuesday. So if you order from them now, they'll ship it now because it's officially released in stores. If people are going by when they place the order, that's a mistake. It's when amazon ships it. The time between when amazon actually ships it to the time it's delivered shouldn't be that long.

#1- Most the time the price is lower when you pre-order.

#2- I thought as soon as the release date was here my copy would ship that day, and I would get it in 2 or 3 days instead of a week. But it didn't work like that for me, so when I ordered the other seasons I just waited 'til the release date then ordered it and I got it in 3 or 4 days.
