The Life

He missed the life. Tennis, jet-setting, exotic locales. The danger, the intrigue.

He really missed the dames.

He missed Scotty the most.

Thanks to The Incident Of Which He Cannot Speak, he had to leave the life he'd known, leave his best friend and partner, and assume a new role in the defense of his nation.

He had a new best friend and partner now, but he wondered what became of Scotty.

He sat on the side of his bed in his bachelor apartment, gazing at his ID.

He was finally getting used to it.
