I posted this in the past, and I just thought of it again to get some new opinions. I use to get the two mixed up when I was a kid. Their fros were almost similar (Duane's was higher) About the same height and age, and almost talk the same.

I was watching What's Happening a while back, and My nephew was in the room with me, he never seen What's Happening before and he saw Dwayne and asked me what was "Michael" doing on that show! I had to explain to him. LOL

I never really thought about it till you brought it up. I guess when Ralph got older, he did look a little like Dwayne.

That's why Dwayne could have made a good friend for Michael. Notice they both had big noses. LOL

Nope. Not at all. If you are referring to their hair and their noses, that's not enough. I have a pic of Haywood Nelson when he was grand marshall of our Christmas Parade here. This was back when he was on What's Happening Now. I'm gonna search for it in my storage and put it on this forum so you all can see it. Hopefully it will come out good when I scan it.

LOL, you're right about that! The way Dwayne said, Hey, Hey, Hey, was kind of gay. Michael sometimes had a gay walk and dance as well.

Plus no 13/14 year boy should have been calling his Father-"DADDY" It should have been DAd, not Daddy. Only Females call their Fathers Daddy at the age of 13-lol

Okay from a girls perspective, Dwayne was much more masculine than Michael, which is why many girls were in love with Dwayne and not Michael. I don't think I can ever remember any girls saying they thought Michael was cute.

Again just a perspective from a girl who had a crush on Haywood Nelson. ;) :wave:

I was still calling my dad, "Daddy" (but usually when I wanted to borrow $$$$)

I don't think they looked at all alike.

I agree with jrnygirl when she said dwayne was masculine he had muscles. I thought he was cute.

Michael always appeared feminine to me. The way he spoke and his movements.

No resemblence whatsoever ...like comparing apples and oranges.

When they were younger, they did have a minor similiar appearance.However, I have seen a photo of them together and the they look nothing alike now (in addition, haywood has ralph by about three inches.). Maybe that kid from High Feather has a similiar appearance.
