For easier access of the news I post, I will post it on the SitcomsOnline.com News Blog.

Visit SitcomsOnline.com's main page and click on News Blog on the left navigation bar or you can directly go there here: http://sitcomsonline.blogspot.com

I will be updating that blog daily (depends on if I have anything major or not). Check out the first post for details on what it will consist of. I hope everyone likes it and thinks it will be easier to access information, news and schedules.

Let the blog officially begin!

Is there a way I can subscribe to a feed of this for my LJ? This is a pretty nifty thing to have. Thanks! :)

Awesome ! - FINALLY SO has a RSS-compatible page

if you are using firefox/mozilla, or any other RSS-capable browser, click on the http://www.mozilla.org/images/screen-firefox-rss-icon.png icon in the right corner of the status bar to add the LiveBookmark to your bookmarks folder or toolbar. If you add it to the toolbar, it becomes a dropdown menu with all of the current Blog headings

TV Shows On DVD's website has something like this- their news articles are delievered to your blog without you having to visit their website. Very nifty feature to have.

well, it gives you an easy way to get news or page updates without actually opening the page and searching for what you want. It gives you the headings of each entry and lets you go directly to the items you want - i've been using the same feature on the NEWS page of www.tvshowsondvd.com for several months now:

Okay, that sounds interesting, and convenient. I just had no clue what RSS was. I don't usually do well with technical sounding stuff, even when they're not necessarily all that technical.

I prefer to view it in my LiveJournal...doesn't clutter up my toolbars that way. This is what TSOD's feed looks like on my LJ:

Just want the LJers here to know...

I have a paid account there and paid users have the ability to create syndicated feeds if there is not an existing one available.

I made one for the SO news feed, and it works! :D

this should probably be made a sticky

Why sticky it when there's a link to the NewsBlog at the top of every forum page?

so why the hell did you sticky it then if you're gonna be rude about it? I never noticed the link at the top of the page before. Pav always posts "run over to the blog" in other posts and I notice that the thread was almost pushed off the first page, so I suggested it, considering Pav updates his blog every day, and when I posted that, I didn't see it at the top.

Speaking of being rude. I wasn't the one who stickied it, I'm not the only mod here. And I wasn't being rude, I asked a question.

haha.

Good thing I don't know what in the name of hell you two are talking about, (or fighting rather), so I don't have to take sides!

well, sorry, but the way you asked that sounded a little condescending, so that's why I responded like I did
