seventies_sitcoms 08-19-2005, 10:35 PM I have a "haunted" prison about an hour away from me. I've never visited it yet because I can't get nobody to go. It is in Moundsville, WV.

Uhhhh.... just looking at those photos gave me a scary shiver down my spine. Ewwww....
To answer the question: Noooooooooo............... I would NEVER do that. Heck, I'm chicken to walk around in the dark in MY own house let alone in a mansion. *shakes head*

Fleet 08-19-2005, 11:47 PM That prison looks to be adequately spooky.
It doesn't look familiar, but I probably seen it in haunted places books.

It looks like the building behind my house. ;)
Speaking of Halloween, I noticed today that the drug store Wal-Greens has started putting out their Halloween displays. :happyface

Man, summer has flown by, it was just 4 months ago we got a foot of snow :(

swedeace 08-20-2005, 02:24 AM I was showing these pictures AND asking this same question to a friend, and he told me, "It doesn't look that scary. What makes it scary-looking?" Good question... My answer was probably a result because of the thought of it being an abandoned jail that made it intimidating for me. http://aob.3.forumer.com/style_images/Si_Green/icon9.gif

Okay; sounds good.
I think it's time I change my avatar to one that's Halloween-related.
Dutabi84 08-20-2005, 02:31 AM I wouldn't want to stay a night in a prison regardless of it being "haunted" or not.

You have a point. I would prefer a haunted mansion or hotel or even apartment.
Ireneparalegal 08-20-2005, 02:36 AM i believe the question is would you sleep here? Nope, but I would do other things there

Don't forget your ghost bustin' equipment. :D
I wouldn't mind touring a mansion that is allegedly haunted, though. Mansions are cool.
dawsongirl 08-20-2005, 03:28 AM That looks like a fun building to tour. Stay overnight...no way. But yeah, a haunted mansion would be cool. There's some supposedly haunted places around here that would be cool to check out.
Kay Scarpetta 08-20-2005, 10:01 AM Yes, I would definitely stay there if I have a friend. I LOVE haunted places, especially old abandoned asylums.

I would.
Viviana 08-21-2005, 10:56 PM I think it would be cool to visit those haunted places, but I think I would be scared! Someone told me that when she went to see the Queen Mary with her family, that the tour guide told her that while they were on the tour, there were some stunt people that were doing someof those stuff to make you scared and to attract people to see it. But other stuff that were happening there, she said she could not explain what caused them. Creepy! I think I would wanna visit sometime. ;)
