I'm gonna write a "Saved by the Bell: The New Class" book (not publish it, just write and keep it). Anyways, I wanted to have a section of the book where I list the fans' pick for the top ten best episodes. So I was wondering if a few fans could list some of their favorites. You don't need to list all ten, just a few, I'll piece them together along with my own picks later.

Here are a couple of mine:

Love Is On the Air (Season 1)
Tommy the Tenor (Season 2)
Goodbye Bayside, Part 2 (Season 2)

Belding's Prank (Season 2)

Drinking 101 (Season 2)

Casino ID's (Season 3)

Right now, "Trash TV" is my favorite season 4 episode. So that one makes my list.

Same here. I just watched it the other day and it was as good as I remembered it almost ten years ago.
I also like from season three-
The one where Tommy D becomes Principal
The one where they work in the lodge and Tommy helps out the girl whose family is having financial trouble.
Season four (my favorite season)
I like where they have pretend babies for home ec and Nicky is running a coffee shop.

Sophia's Wrinkles

Goodbye Megan (Season 1)
The Return Of Screech (Season 2)
Wanna Bet? (Season 2)
No Smoking (Season 3)
Unequal Opportunity (Season 4)
Trash TV (Season 4)
I also like the one with the candy store at the mall. I think it's from season 3.

I was thinking of watching all the episodes of The New Class and keeping track of how many times Screech says "oops" "zoinks" or "yipes" but it would be so constant, it would distract me from enjoying the episodes.

Or how about "Wwhhaaattt?" in his annoying screeching voice?

BTW, I finished all my notes for season 1. I haven't written the episode guides yet, but I've watched all 13 episodes and took notes about important or not so important info. Stuff like how Weasel and Lindsay were next door neighbors and they've been best friends since kindergarten. (I think kindergarten. It might have been 2nd grade. I'll have to check my notes later to be sure.) Also continuity errors. I bet there will be a bunch. None yet, but the errors come with time.

Yeah, that too. I was watching the "Student Court" episode on season 4 yesterday and Screech did that, then Eric said it right after him. I wonder if that's the only time when someone echoed one of his sayings.

That episode was weird. Since when do the students give out the punishments? It was so funny when Mr. Belding told one of the students (Katie, I believe) "You're going to court." Or something like that. I just laughed so hard at how stupid that was. Just the idea of a principal saying to a student "You're going to court," in a serious tone.

I hope to post my list soon. I never did finish the season 4 dvd set, so I'm watching the final disc now to refresh my memory of those epoisodes. I can tell you one thing, there probably won't be any season 1 episodes in my top ten.

Anyway, check out this brief negative review (http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles/s/savedbythebellth_7775605.shtml) of The New Class on a British website.

I don't believe I've ever read a good review for "The New Class." That's one of the reasons I post alot about the show, to shed some positive light on it.

Yeah, it's the type of show that you expect critics to diss and dismiss, but it's a fun, entertaining show. Watching it on dvd I'm enjoying it as much now as I did when it was on the air.
