How was she written off the show? She was engaged to Fred, then she disappeared. What happened to her?

If you're talking about the show Sanford(1980), I don't think they explained why he wasn't with Donna anymore. Guess they broke up.

I guess I've been watching S & S out of order on TV land and am getting confused. LOL

I like how this seemed to be a secondary plot throughout the series starting with "The Barracuda" and "The Return of the Baracuda" from season one. Anyone know how many other "Donna episodes" were produced?

They obviously did. Remember when Lou(?) from the liquor store was over at Donna's place? He had even brought wine and put it in a decanter so it could breeeeathe.

Did'nt Donna also date a ex-judge, or something like that. I believe it was the episode where we saw Donna's mother; (who by the way looked was closer to Fred's age).

Yep - Lou Turner.

Lou: "White wine should be drunk while young."
Fred: "Yeah, I was drunk when I was young."

The judge was named Mel Davis, I think. He proposed to Donna and, in a later episode, presided over the courtroom in the "Legal Eagle".
