View Full Version : Chris Tucker or Chris Rock?
GARFIELDKOOL 08-18-2005, 10:28 AM Chris Tucker hasn't done anything since The Rush Hour movies, and Chris Rock isn't as funny as he use to be. But I will give the edge to Chris Rock. He could use some better movies, though. I like his stand-up better than his movies. "Bigger and Blacker" was my favorite.
Chris Tucker is straight up silly.
crystals 08-18-2005, 01:16 PM I don't think I can decide between the two of them. I thought Chris Tucker was funny in the "Rush Hour" films, but Chris Rock was funny in "Down To Earth". I can't decide.

gidgetgrape 09-08-2005, 12:03 AM I like Chris Tucker the most, but it takes him years to come out with anything new.
Jrnygrl 09-08-2005, 12:19 AM ROCK!!!
dandelion wine 09-09-2005, 12:23 AM ROCK!!!
For real.
Personally, I don't think either of them has done a good movie.
Chris Tucker is resting on his laurels, waiting for another "Rush Hour" movie to come out, and Chris Rock is better off doing standup, since his movies have been lame...
So, both of them have yet to impress me.

Oh I love Chris Rock. Can't compare the two in my book. Chris Tucker is freakin' annoying. I have loved Chris Rock since he appeared in "I'm gonna git you sucka." He had a very very small part, but it's the part that makes me watch that movie everytime it's on. I love the other humorous scenes, but that one stood out the first time i seen it.

Brad Russ 09-10-2005, 04:22 AM Chris Rock is way funnier. I find Chris Tucker to be kind of annoying.

Chris Rock, by a landslide.
Chris Tucker isn't even in the same league as Chris Rock. Rock has done four great standup specials, countless wonderful supporting roles in movies (although some of his starring roles were stinkers). His hosting gigs at the MTV Video Music Awards and this year's Academy Awards were top-notch, and I absolutely can't wait for Everybody Hates Chris. Along with My Name Is Earl, one of two new shows I'm excited about this season.
Belair 09-11-2005, 05:26 AM I'm probaly one of the only people I know who doesn't find Chris Rock funny. He swears a hell of alot, and I think thats what he thinks is humour. Its not. Swearing is funny sometimes when comedians throw it in, but he uses it so much it loses its effect.
leyajai74 10-09-2005, 05:25 PM I like both of them, but Chris Tucker hasn't come out with nothing new for awhile.I will have to say right now Chris Rock gets my vote.
isiahthomas 10-12-2005, 05:10 PM Where is Chris Tucker? Did he go into hiding? LOL. He's supposed to be doing another Rush Hour & he might do a sequel to Money Talks i heard. If he does do another Rush Hour, i think 3 will be enough. It's a shame he hasn't done any movies in awhile because he's a very funny guy. His career blew up after Friday movie & then he disappeared after 2nd Rush Hour. I saw him in Mariah Carey's new video. He had me rollin in Dead Presidents when he said we might as well put a ad in the paper we gon get everybody. Ain't gonna be no money left for a nig*a LOL.
