Jack's always wanting the girls to put out,but was really protective when it came to Larry and his brother,Lee.

Larry Loves Janet
Jack:Janet isn't your type of girl

Larry:SHe is now

Jack: (turns him around) WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!
-------------------------------------------
Jack:ALright, you love Janet. How do you know Janet loves you?

Larry:I have my reasons

Jack:  WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!

Lee Ain't Heavy,He's My Brother I don't get that title
Jack: Did anything happen between you two tonight?

Lee:I don't know what you mean

Jack:You know exactly what I mean

Mates For Eachother
Terri:Leave him alone,he didn't do anything

Jack:How can you stick up for him after what he did to you?

Terri:He was trying to make me feel better

Jack: (still holding Larry by his robe)Still using that line, huh Larry?

He wanted them to put out for him (Jack), but he grew to love and care for them. He was still a man and of course his mind (and body) would love to have had them, but later on in the seasons you could see how their relationship grew and he protected them. So, no, it's no inconsistency, it's just Jack being a man, and a wonderful one at that.

Lee Ain't Heavy,He's My Brother I don't get that title

Why would you? You're probably 12. The title is based on the 1969 song "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother."

My dad and I were watching the Three's Company season one DVD last night (Roper's Niece) and when Jack buys back the cameo for Janet when he says "Well I couldn't spend Roper's money on his niece, could I?" my dad said, "That right there showed how much he loved them both" and I agree. My dad even wishes that Jack and Janet should have gotten married.
