Another post (see Potsie in last episode thread) stated "in the original episode fonzie says to richie"whats amazing is that ten years
ago i was gonna pound you in some alley and now here we are at your sisters wedding" then he toasts richie and danny.this is cut in the syndicate version and it really pisses me off when ever i see it."

Did this really happen-I never knew that. If so, they should really think about putting that back in when they replay the episode. I always thought that one of the most disapointing things about the last episode was how little Richie was in it and how he and Fonz never really said much to each other in the episode, but if this is true then that helps a little bit.

BTW, I always thought that they should have combined Richie's return from the Army and Joanie & Chachi's wedding as a story. They could have said Richie was discharged just in time for the wedding. So the episode deals with Richie returning in the first part and the wedding in the 2nd part. It could have ended with Joanie & Chachi being waived off on their Honeymoon and Richie stating that he was moving away to California and ended the way we saw Richie look around his house.

Yes, that part you mentioned was a part of the original airing. It took place right before Howard's toast. Here's the full conversation:

Fonzie: I know, but what's amazing is that ten years ago, when we first met, I was gonna pound you in some alley, huh?

Richie: Yeah.

Fonzie: And here we are at your sister's wedding. Richie [touches glasses with Richie]. Danny [touches glasses with Danny].

Al and Roger also had a conversation right before Fonzie and Richie.

al is crying and says "oh roger it was so beautiful when he took her in his arms
it was like a story book"roger says "yeah but al you have to stop crying the tears are running down you nose and into my champagne glass"
i hate that i know this stuff but the original airing is so much better D.I.

Was BINGO at the wedding?

He SHOULD have been! He's only the most funniest, trippiest, cool, rad character ever in a Happy Days ep.

So what would Ralph & Potsie do if they had only been at the wedding?
