Chain Gang Member 08-18-2005, 10:40 AM I believe that Batista will win and feud with Orton. Then if Orton doesn't defeat 'Taker sunday,he'll beat him somewhere down the road after Orton wins the title from Batista and defeat Taker when he defends the title againt him someday
Brian Damage 08-19-2005, 12:07 AM I think Batista vs Orton should be saved for Wrestlemania.
Brad Russ 08-19-2005, 07:33 AM For some reason I have a feeling that Bret Hart might show up at Summerslam. From the recent meeting with Vince and Bret, to Shawn Michael's tricking the fans into believing Bret was coming out on Raw, it just feels like they're setting him up for a Summerslam return. I wouldn't be surprised if they had him do a run in at the end of Shawn and Hogan's match, only to have him shock the fans, by attacking Hogan, and giving Shawn the win. Either that, or he'll attack Shawn, giving Hogan the win. Either way, I think it would be awesome to see him. I'm not going to be ordering Summerslam, but if Bret shows up, I'll definitely be ordering the replay!!
Chain Gang Member 08-19-2005, 10:38 AM Bret Hart is not scheduled to appear at Summerslam and WWE still has not even asked him to appear despite scripting RAW the past few weeks to make it seem like he might show up. If you really want to know his schedule, he'll be at the Greg Price NWA Mid Atlantic Wrestling convention on Sunday in Charlotte. He is leaving for the show first thing in the morning. He'll leave Charlotte on Monday to Stamford, CT. Of course, he could take a private jet but it WILL NOT happen. As reported earlier this week, there is no plan to use him and Hart has stated in the past that he will not work as a character for WWE again and won't be involved in anything that plays on his brother's death of the Montreal screwjob.
At this point, Hart is scheduled to be at WWE offices on Monday to finish up work on his DVD. WWE has put a deadline on the Hart DVD of this week. (Observer)

Oh, I see. I didn't know all that. Thanks for the info!!
Brian Damage 08-19-2005, 11:19 AM If anything, they'll save Hart for Wrestlemania as a Hall of Fame inductee alongside Dusty Rhodes and probably Ricky Steamboat.
Loni Denard 08-22-2005, 04:33 AM I predicted:
Cena over Jericho
Hogan over HBK
Angle over Eugene
Edge over Matt
Batista over JBL
Eddie over Rey
Orton over Undertaker
Benoit over Orlando
I nailed almost every one of them.
However after Orlando Jordan's loss to Benoit in one of the shortest matches ever, it definately killed any credibility he had as U.S. champ, plus probably most will view him as a top jobber. The U.S. title is really being trashed, Orlando did not deserve that belt in the first place, ever since he hooked up with JBL a year ago, he has basically been a bodyguard/servant and not a full time singles wrestler, but they give him the top mid-card belt on Smackdown and he holds it for over 5 months. Plus Benoit needs to be going for the World Title, he does not need the U.S. title, it will just hold him down.
Chain Gang Member 08-22-2005, 09:53 AM Same as me.I thought Matt would win,but the ref stopped the match after Matt dtarted bleeding. If that was the reason for stopping the match, they should've made it a first blood match

I thought the ref stopped the match less on Matt's bleeding and more on the fact that he looked like he had a concussion. Did you see his eyes? He looked really out of it.
Chain Gang Member 08-23-2005, 12:51 PM I didn't watch it.I just saw the picture of Matt Hardy bleeding
isiahthomas 09-02-2005, 12:36 PM Did Hulk Hogan beat Shawn Michaels?
