Dion Demucci,formerly of 50s rock group Dion & The Belmonts,has done some pretty impressive solo work since then.Unfortunately it seems none of it has received a lot of media recognition.I have two of his solo albums from the 70s on one CD,which I had ordered from Amazon.Ca.The first album on the CD is called Born To Be With You.My favourite tracks are Make The Woman Love Me,In And Out Of The Shadows and Baby Let's Stick Together.The other album is Streetheart.My two favourite tracks are Queen Of 59 and the title track.I also have his 1989 album Yo Frankie!.My favourite song on that album is Always In The Rain.I also have his latest CD from two years ago titled New Masters.This album is filled with brand new versions of his old songs,such as Teenager In Love,Drip Drop,Runaround Sue and The Wanderer.

Dion DiMucci became a born again Christian in the late 70's, released a series of albums for the Contemporary Christian market in the 80's, and even appeared on Lou Reed's New York album in 1989.
