View Full Version : Do you think James should have never told his Family he had a gun and TVFactFan 08-16-2005, 06:00 PM just took care of business if someone was to break in? Also why would James have so many LOCKS on the door he if had a Saturdaty Night Special?-lol Ireneparalegal 08-16-2005, 06:01 PM just took care of business if someone was to break in? Also why would James have so many LOCKS on the door he if had a Saturdaty Night Special?-lol I believe the locks were put there first and then he acquired the gun. Also, if the neighborhood was sooooo bad, why didn't the locks remain on the door after that episode??????????????????????? TVFactFan 08-16-2005, 06:07 PM I believe the locks were put there first and then he acquired the gun. Also, if the neighborhood was sooooo bad, why didn't the locks remain on the door after that episode??????????????????????? But why have the Locks if James had the Gun?-lol Ireneparalegal 08-16-2005, 06:09 PM But why have the Locks if James had the Gun?-lol No Soloman, why take the locks off!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? You are right and so am I. I am taking my stance on this one. The locks can remain no matter if there is a gun or not. It would make it that much harder for someone to come in. Unless it's Willona, then what good are any locks????? TVFactFan 08-16-2005, 07:22 PM No Soloman, why take the locks off!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? You are right and so am I. I am taking my stance on this one. The locks can remain no matter if there is a gun or not. It would make it that much harder for someone to come in. Unless it's Willona, then what good are any locks????? Yeah but the point you are missing is if someone invaded the Evans Home, James had his*own personal BURNER-lol nlearfan 08-16-2005, 10:43 PM I dont get why they never actually locked the door. The kids were always walking in without a key or anything. Brian Damage 08-16-2005, 10:57 PM I believe the locks were put there first and then he acquired the gun. Also, if the neighborhood was sooooo bad, why didn't the locks remain on the door after that episode??????????????????????? Exactly, the locks were only there for one episode. As for you Solomon, I'm sure James was hoping all those locks would prevent him from using the gun. TVFactFan 08-16-2005, 11:02 PM Exactly, the locks were only there for one episode. As for you Solomon, I'm sure James was hoping all those locks would prevent him from using the gun. Well now the way he was talking, Florida: James if someone really broke into this house would you really use that gun on them? James: Is Fat Meat Greasy? LOL-LOL Brian Damage 08-16-2005, 11:03 PM I don't doubt that James would've used the gun, I just don't think he wanted to. TVFactFan 08-16-2005, 11:07 PM Michael knew that James Temper and a Gun was a BAD COMBINATION!!!-lol Ireneparalegal 08-16-2005, 11:12 PM I don't doubt that James would've used the gun, I just don't think he wanted to. Thanx Brian. That's my point. The locks were a deterrent. And if anyone broke in, then they would have to face the wrath of James. By the way, notice when the ladies went to wash, no one bothered to lock the door then. Yet, it had been locked all the way shortly before that. And they they came right back in without checking to see if the door was locked. Same thing when Thelma left. No one said, "Lock the door and make sure you use THE knock when you come back." Also, when Thelma came back after being "assaulted", she was hysterical. If I was opposed to my father having a gun in the house (as she was) the last thing I would do is come screaming into the house like that knowing my father had a gun and had just finished saying he would use it to protect his family. Surely she had to know he would use it even if it was to just scare off someone that just hurt her. That's crazy! James could get killed that way. Also!!! my daughter said that right before Michael shot the gun, his face grimaced, knowing the gun was going to go off. She said if she was certain a gun was unloaded, she wouldn't make a face because she doesn't expect it to go off. I have shot guns at a gun range. I don't make a face when I pulled the trigger knowing it was empty. magellan333 08-16-2005, 11:43 PM The gun was a revolver, was Michael that ignorant of how a gun is loaded? With a revolver, you can see the bullets when you open the cylinder. Also, in that neighborhood, a gun wasn't a bad idea at all. Ireneparalegal 08-17-2005, 12:42 AM Also, were the Evans' on the top floor? If not, what abt the tenants upstairs when Michael shot into the air???? I swore I have heard it mentioned in other episodes about "the tenants' upstairs". Vince 887 08-17-2005, 12:50 AM Also, were the Evans' on the top floor? If not, what abt the tenants upstairs when Michael shot into the air???? I swore I have heard it mentioned in other episodes about "the tenants' upstairs". What floor was Willona on? that sure would have given her a scare when the gun went off if she lived above in theory but i think She was in the Evans' apartment when Michael pulled the trigger . Ireneparalegal 08-17-2005, 12:50 AM She lived right down the hall. To the right of the Evans' front door. craftman 08-17-2005, 12:52 AM just took care of business if someone was to break in? Also why would James have so many LOCKS on the door he if had a Saturdaty Night Special?-lol Yes, I think he should have told the family. To me, letting your family know that your concerned about there safety is just curtious, instead of keeping secrets. And all those locks on the door was there for that one episode just to make James' point about getting a gun more valid. |
