Which of these 1979 albums do you prefer-

The Police - Reggatta De Blanc

or

The Clash - London Calling

Regatta De Blanc, for their genre nobody except maybe Rush were able to touch The Police during their heyday

I love The Police and Reggatta de Blanc is their best album. Call me a nerd, but the Clash never really did much for me (although I do like the title track from London Calling).

London Calling is a good album, but not as great as some critics claim (but I'm the same guy who thinks Led Zeppelin IV is far from being Zeppelin's best album, though it is regarded as a milestone...give me the first two albums, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti over the 4th album anyday). With the exception of their last album, I really don't like The Police very much.
