I think it is great that George mentions Freddie and Chico and the Man, as well as promoting Jr.s show in the Fall. Hats off to you GLo, you deserve the honor. :clap :tiphat:

George has always commended Freddie for opening doors not only for hispanic comedians, but all comedians.

I know, it is great every time he mentions his admiration of not only Freddie, but the ground broken by the show as well. We fans of Freddie and CATM feel it is one more way to keep the memory alive. I appreciate George taking Freddie's son under his wing. I wish the best of luck to their new venture, Jr.s show. With their shows back to back, I hope they have a hit team of shows in the fall. I know I will be watching.

George is a man to be proud of.

I admire him so. What I like about him is that he didn't forget Freddie. Freddie had an awesome gift and if he didn't die who knows where he would've been today. I will be watching both shows and I love George's show. He is truly One of The 25 most influential Hispanics in America!

I have always loved George Lopez. I have seen him twice in concert. He is going to play here in my town next month. When I have seen him twice, this was back in 1994 and 1995. Back in the days before the whole world knew him. He was so damn funny and he still is funny.

If he ever comes around here, I want to go. I saw his standup show on TV. What a hoot!

You should. It's awesomely funny. Man, I had tears coming down my cheeks from laughing so hard. Everyone should check out his show. I have his CD's and I can play them over and over.

I think these are ones who are influencing America today, they are alive..... not honoring those who have passed.

I have to say I am surprised Freddie was not included also. He WAS the one who opened the door in may ways....and for that alone he should be recognized. This may be a way to recognize those who are still with us..but we should NEVER forget who GOT US HERE in the fist place!
