No way, man. Papa Johns has Dominos beat. Did you try it with their special garlic sauce? It also kicks ass with ranch dressing.

All big franchise pizza places like Pizza Hut, Dominos and Papa Johns stink. If you want really good pizza, you've got to come NYC.

Big franchise pizza places are good for kids. I agree with Brian, for good pizza it's NY or Chicago. Although I recently saw a man on either "Inside Edition" who has traveled the world looking for the best pizza for a book he has published. The best most authentic pizza was found in Phoenix, AZ. I'm sorry, I can't remember the name of the pizza shop, but there's a long line to get in.

Since I don't live in NY, Chicago, or Phoenix, I prefer the real italian shops here in NC over the franchises. One of my favorites is Vincent's. Vincent the owner has a strong cicilian accent and dialect and he looks like the Godfather.

My family never gets francise pizza anymore- but lately we started getting Little Caesar's occasionally because it's really really cheap and it's pretty good for being 5 bucks!

I LOVE chicago style pizza. It's the best!

There is a local pizza place called "Pizzaola" and the owners/operators are from New York. I could tell from the way they talked. And I like thier pizza much better than the chain ones. Too bad I can't mail you some for you to sample.

But, overall, I never met a pizza I didn't like (except "Shakey's").

I've never been to the east coast of the States, but I'd love to go someday. I've also heard so much about trying a "real" NY-style pizza. That's something I'd like to try one day.

Gimme the good old deep dish Chicago style anytime! YUM!!

We also have places very similar to the ones in NYC - a huge Italian community here and they know how to do it right! ;)

I love Domino's, never had Papa John's, but I like pizzeria pizza the best. As in pizza chains, I like Domino's the best. (Actually I like Sbarro's the best, but I think Sbarro's is more of a "real" pizza place) Pizza Hut is good, but I havent had their pizza in a while so I dont remember it -_- We have one right around the corner from us too

Yeah, frozen pizza is okay once in a while (like a few times/year), but you can't beat freshly-made pizza! Frozen can't even come close to fresh!

Papa John's breadsticks SUCK. When I was living in the dorms at UNI, all the girls raved about Papa John's breadsticks. Not having a PJ's at home at the time, I was eager to try them. Ick...they were just...bread.

Pizza Hut has gone waaaaayyyyyyy downhill, but their breadsticks still rawk.

We usually end up at Papa Murphy's for pizza. One of my dad's friends owns a local pizza shop and we go there too.

I miss Little Caesar's. :(

I don't understand why everyone hates Papa John's. The general consensus among most people I have spoken to is that Papa John's is lousy, but I absolutely love their pizza. It is delicious.

I have to disagree that all big franchise pizzas are bad. Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Little Caesar's - all wonderful.
