What does everyone think of their new album? I thought their last album would be hard to top, and I didn't really like the new one at first, but after a few listens, a lot of the songs have really grown on me. So far I'm liking Don't Lie, Dum Diddly, Gone Going (feat. Jack Johnson, my favorite on the album), Disco Club, and Union (feat. Sting). I didn't think they could do better than Elephunk, but I'm begining to think they did.

I like MB. It's different then their previous albums. I'm really into: Like That, Dum Diddly, Disco Club, Bebot (eventhough it's done in Tagalog(sp?)) and Union. Union kind reminds me of Where Is The Love.

I like that they're a hip hop act that tries and succeeds at being different. They, like Outkast, are actually capable of making hip hop that people who hate hip hop can actually like.

Yea, I had no clue what Bebot was in, but I kept hearing "FILIPINO! FILIPINO!" So I sent it to a friend who's Filipino and she said that it was in Tagalog. Now if I only knew what they were saying, we'd be all set.

from what I heard, their first couple albums are a totally different style than from when they brought Fergie in. So you might not like the new stuff as much because there seems to be a huge divided camp between the late 90's fans when they were more street and the Elephunk/MB fans

Yea, artists like 50 cent really ruin the hip hop scene for some people. "Hip Hop to nie tylko gangsta i bunt...naprawde." --- DKA Translated, it says "Hip Hop is not only about gangsters and anger...really." And I totally agree with that, cause that's this genre's perception to a LOT of people. I used to be so judgemental of hip hop myself and wouldn't listen to anything close to it, but I did a little searching and realized that not all of it is crap.

I actually like Monkey Business. There is NO filler in that album.

Yeah, one of the guys in the group is half-Filipino. So am I, but I think I'd have a hard time trying to translate what he sings about.

Anyways, I like Black Eyed Peas, but I don't like their music enough to buy any of their CDs.
