Did anyone else notice how loud and wound up the audience was in the episode about Michael and "Eddie The Bully"? They were stomping and laughing at almost everything that was going on. It actually made the episode very enjoyable that they were so into it. I have all these on DVD, but when I watched it on TV Land last night I was surprised I'd forgotten about that. That was also the last ep of season 2 (its most popular season)

Yep, that was one good episode. It seems this one and the one about "The Wiggler" were two episodes when the audience seemed to really get into it. Seeing the episode "Eddie The bully" reminds me of how my father on two occasions really let my older brother have it with the belt as a teen. My sister and I were never hit in any way shape or form, mostly out of respect for our parents, we behaved and also on those two occasions when my father let loose on my brother. Man, if that didn't scare us straight, nothing would have. When my brother was an adult he joked about those two occasions and was thankful for the discipline. It's almost like what Florida and James said to Eddie, we discipline our kids because we love them. If we didn't love them, we wouldn't take the time.

Love the Classic scene in that episode.

Michael: Do you think Daddy is really going ton beat him?

Florida: Is a bean green?

J.J: Can James Brown get down?

Thelma: Is your Head Dead?

LOL

 Yep - the good old days - when you did risk dad's belt!

You sure wouldn't see that on any show today. Could you image the switchboard at the network? People would probably scream that they are promoting child abuse. Meanwhile - you see how effective it was?

Michael: Hey Eddie, wanna do some studying before dinner?
Eddie: Naw man, I think I'll just relax.
......next line,
Florida: Come on everybody, dinners ready.
If they would have studied, they would have had 5 seconds to before dinner was ready. :D
