Okay, have you seen those Target commercials where they are spoofing "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix Alot, and the guy sings: I like backpacks and I cannot lie... or something like that while they show all the back to school supplies and kids dancing or whatever? I have to know, is that Sir Mix Alot singing? God I hope not! But it REALLY sounds like his voice. I just had to know, is it really him, or somebody else? Does anyone know?

It sure sounds like him! Cool and decent remake

That's a good ad, and no, I don't know if it's Sir Mix-a-Lot or someone else. On that note, has anyone seen the new Kmart ads where a teenage garage band plays "Kids in America"? The bass player doesn't look like a girl to me (perhaps a future model?)

Supposedly, it is him singing the tweaked lyrics.

Wow! Does Target have that kind of money to throw around?

I was going to mention the other stores trying to steal Target's ads. That is a prime example. I would have paid money that it was a Target ad.

That's very generous of you, considering they will only throw it away on advertising.
