I remember an episode where Alice accidently sticks her finger into Henry the telephone man's hot fudge sundae, and she licks her finger off real slow like she had never eaten ice cream before. What was the reason behind her for doing that to the sundae?? :confused: Strange.

I found out what it was. The girls decide to give up things that are bad for them . Alice tries giving up chocolate, Vera gives up cigarettes, Flo tries giving up coffee I think. So when Alice accidently sticks her finger in Henry's sundae that was the reason why she was trying to lick off the ice cream so quick so nobody would see her.

Vera was never seen smoking before that show or after. The first time I saw the episode and saw her smoking I said to myself. OK. Something is going to revolve around her smoking.

Actually, Alice made it look like she "accidently" stuck her finger in there. She did it on purpose.

Just watched this episode about 4 times on the DVD. I love Beth Howland's impression of Bette Davis smoking! :)
