That's a clever way of letting somebody in the bathroom know they need to hurry up...or was it just there for a decoration? I don't know very many people who kept a 1920's looking automobile horn on their bathroom door. Did anybody ever actually toot the horn? LOL. I can't ever remember seeing anybody use it.

I think it was just there as decoration.

I always wondered about that too!

I dug up this old thread that I found ! I guess instead of knocking , honk the horn to get the person in the bathroom to hurry up! More dramatic than knocking!

I always wondered about that. I completely forgot about the horn on the door. That was a weird door decoration.

LOL!! Instead of knocking I guess the person wanting to use the bathroom would honk that horn!! That would knock a person's a** off the toilet!!!

So basically they were men? Also, I thought Mark showed remarkable restraint, especially in Vegas.

That's true. But it seemed all the other men /or boys were begging those women , girls for sex!!! Oh, except Bob too, he even slept in a hotel bed with Barbara and didn't try anything!! ;)

Well Ann was horny too. Or as they say nowadays "Thirsty"!!! Remember she liked that race car driver and he didn't want her ,also the young guy from her office that she invited over ,he thought it was for work and she planned a date, and he didn't want her a**!!! That was funny!!!!

I think the whole 'horniness' of Ann was supposed to be s sign of the times....ya know, liberated woman, single mom, having a career and all the other things that were pertinent at that particular time, that we rather poo poo today as being 'normal'...:)

Well, it was the bathroom, not the bedroom. ;)

It was weird and a little sad, the last ep. Ann moving out and the apartment empty to see the horn off the door!
