I wanted to post a thought here about Family Matters. I remember watching that show every Friday night. It was, and still is one of my absolute favorites. I am stunned it still hasn't been released on DVD yet! People debate on how good or bad the show is. I'm in the camp that enjoyed it. Suprisingly I still haven't seen every episode of the series. I thought it would have been released, or at least announced by now. Urkel was huge during the 90's, whether you liked him or not. I am hoping like so many the first few seasons get released in the next year. I'd like to see it by Christmas, but honestly I know that's un-realistic at this point. Hopefully in early 2006. So many other shows that I am frankly surprised are getting onto DVD at all are coming out, and Family Matters still hasn't. Amazes the heck out of me, and I can't explain it either. Even Full House has a season out sheesh! Oh well, just wanted to let those who are hoping for this on DVD know I'm with ya, and have my fingers crossed they'll finally release it in the next year.

I'd like to see it on DVD too. It's one of the longest running african-american series in the history of television, and they already have The Jeffersons, Cosby Show, and Fresh Prince out, and there even getting ready to have That's My Mama on DVD. And that show wasn't even on that long.
