its sometimes called a "pinch" harmonic, it just takes a lot of practice, but once you learn you can get some extremely cool sounds :)

basically try moving your thumb around as you pick so that it hits the string almost simultaneously.

Thanks everyone! I am so glad that I am done with college, no more 45 minute drive there and back again. It feels good to stay in one spot and not have to do all that driving.

LOL I'm the other way around. I think it's harder to make a 150x150 avatar look good, so I usually make them 100x100 or some odd number. Whatever it takes to make it look right.

haha yeah, I printed out an episode guide and marked them off when my dad taped them...and I STILL don't have them all. There's a least like 30 tapes in my closet haha. Because then there's the movie and E! True Hollywood story and specials and a tape only carries about 8 episodes :snob:
I have 253 episodes of Happy Days lost in a closet somewhere. The only 2 episodes I didnt have were ones that TV Land didnt show. I also had 97 episodes of Gilligan's Island, I THINK 2 short of the full series as well.

I dunno, they just skipped them. Probably did show them eventually, but by the time they did I had either lost interest, or lost interest in recording that specific episode.

Yeah, I remember that. And wasn't there some episode where you could see in John Ritters boxers or something and it had to be edited? :lol: I dunno that THAT was ever shown on TV Land or anything, but I remember reading the TC board ages ago and seeing some thread about it. Some girl was all "DOES ANYBODY HAVE A TAPE OF THIS?!".
