I posted this question on tv.com page for both shows. I ask this again.

Does anyone think they are simularities between the first two seasons of "Moesha", and the first season of "The Steve Harvey Show."

I don't why, but I feel the need to compare the first season of "the Steve Harvey Show" to the first two seasons of "Moesha." I find some simularties. The writing is very similar to me.

Maybe, it is because Merlin Santana and Shar Jackson guest starred on the other show. Or that they was constant mention of "Moesha" on the first season of "The Steve Harvey Show."

Especially simularites with the kids on both shows. I think you could trade Mo's friends with Steve's students, and it wouldn't be that different.
