Okay so I wasnt sure where to put this, under games, sports?

Anyhow has anyone here gotten Madden 06 yet? Like it, hate it? Is there anything really different? I hear the passing is harder.

I just got home with my copy, and I'm going to be checking it out.
I guess we know what I will be doing for the rest of my vaction time.

I stopped into Walmart this morning before work..and I saw the chick stalking the shelves with it. I thought for about 5 minutes, but decided I am currently too poor to buy it. I'm thinking I'll exchange some games for it at EB or something in a few weeks.

The last couple years I went with SEGA's ESPN football game.

Poor Donovan McNabb.. I hope the EA curse doesn't continue.

The good thing about Madden is that it seems they continually improve it year after year. I am more of a fan of their NHL series myself.

I don't think the curse applies to Ray Lews on last year's cover, cause he only missed one game.

They do improve yearly, but we'll have to see if a lack of compitition makes them lazy.

Yeah I dont like the lack of cometition side at all. I played one real game so far, and there is some new passing vision thing that I need to get the hang of. You actually have to look at your receiver now, or you may throw a horrible pass. So if you used a team with a bad QB, this could be difficult. So far seems to look pretty good.

Oh yeah, that "passing cone" thing that I heard about. That sounds interesting. Can you turn that option off if you don't like it?

Not that I have seen, but I haven't really looked. It actually looks like it may be cool once i get used to it.

It does look like you can turn the QB vision off...

Does anyone know if Madden '06 is going have those 100+ Historic Teams?
