I assume she had to be a buyer before she became head buyer, but I don't think it was ever mentioned.

The botique was shown at least once on the episode "Willona's New Job". That episode was from the 5th season, where Willona's boyfriend buys the company so he'll be closer to her.

I would have preferred to see more scenes at J.J Job/advertising agency instead of Willona's Boutique
