Lifetime featured the story of a husband who murdered his wife in 1967, was committed to a state mental facility where he once worked, only to escape and flee to Ireland, where he assumed the identity of a man named O'Shea. Here's where the story took a great turn. He reports a robbery of his house to Dublin Police, who ask if he minds giving a fingerprint sample so that they can eliminate his prints from the robbers. AND HE CONSENTS. Needless to say they match his prints to his former identity and he is re-arrested. After several years of legal wrangling, he is released and has not been found. Tip to any fugitives out there, if you're on the lam you may want to avoid reporting any crimes against you.
