Is Fred McMurrary dead?

Fred MacMurray died about three years ago. If I remember right, he was *WELL* into his seventies or eighties...

He also co-starred with Miss Barbara Stanwyck in the 1940's thriller "Double Indemnity".
(Stanwyck was in NUMEROUS movies from the 1930's-50's, and also in TV's "The Big Valley" in the later 1960's). She passed away earlier in the 1990's.

Robbie Douglas was played by Don Grady.

Mike Douglas was played by Tim Considine.

Both Don and Tim had been involved with Disney's "Mickey Mouse Club" in the late 1950's prior to being on M3S.

Both real-life brothers, Stanley "Chip/Richard Douglas" Livingston, and Barry "Ernie Douglas" Livingston, were regulars on "Ozzie and Harriet" prior to their roles in M3S... Stanley played a neighberhood kid named "Stanley" on O&H in the late 1950's, and when M3S started, Barry regularly appeared on O&H as the neighberhood kid "Barry", until around 1963 when he joined his real-life brother "Chip/Richard Douglas" (Stanley), as Chip's neighberhood pal "Ernie" (pre-adoption), on (Black & White, Bub, ABC, Desilu) M3S-- (the B&W early 60's ep's presently being seen M-F from 8-9am Eastern on TVLand).

I know that all four "sons" real-life actors are still involved one-way-or-another with acting or producing/directing... but I really don't keep up much with current entertainment productions/etc. I'm mainly into the nostalgia of it all...

Wrong. He did not die three yrs. ago. He died in on November 5, 1991. About 2 and a half sundays ago was the ninth anniversary of his death. He died of pnemonia. He was 83. There is a full biography about him at the Internet Movie Database.....
