elevators scare me to death, i have really long hair and i always feel like it'll get caught in the doors. i jump in and out of them as fast as i can.

Elevators are so scary when you are on one and then someone gets on and it is just the two of you. I had a friend who was on one and a man got on one and just punched her in the face and knocked her out, when she awoke, she had a concussion and was robbed of about 40 bucks, all that she had on her. Now she literally will not go in a building with elevators.

I used to hate elevators when I was little. That automatic door really scared me! I always was afraid I'd get caught in it or something!

i've been kind of scared of escalators ever since a year or two ago at the mall, i saw a guy at the top of an escalator, and evidently the thing had malfuntioned and the stair or few stairs he'd been standing on had caved straight down several feet below, just before he walked off of it. so he was trapped in a narrow pit about chest-high, right next to the floor. it caught my attention when i saw what appeared to be the top half of a man sitting by the escalator. i saw that he was stuck, but he was talking on a cell phone so i assumed he was getting help, i was pretty stunned by it anyway. i actually had a bad dream about it afterwards.

man i remember when i was like 6 and i was going down an escalator and my shoelace got caught in the stairs so i was about to fall and my sister caught me in time before i fell and now im scared as hell to go on escalators :(

I was trapped in an elevator once this year. It was stuck between the 4th and 5th floor, and the emergency button wasnt working. Im still scared of them.
