Does anybody on the group remember an Australian TV interviewer, named Norman Gunsten? We had his show, over here in the UK, for a short while, during the early 80s. The reason I ask is because he interviewed Ricky on one of his shows. The prominent feature about this particular (and rather eccentric)interviewer is that his face was full of shaving nicks (highlighted by small pieces of toilet tissue!) Also, he used to ask celebrities all kinds of weird and crazy questions. Among the stars he talked to were Mick Jagger and James Garner (to name but a few). As I recall, James Garner didn't take too kindly to one of Gunsten's questions and came close to punching his lights out!

Unfortunately, I didn't have a VCR at the time of the Norman Gunsten shows, so therefore, I was unable to tape the interview with Ricky. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone, by chance, had this interview on video. If so, I'd be interested in obtaining a copy from them.

Also, while I'm on the subject of early Ricky interviews, there is another one, recorded for a British TV series, "Clapperboard" (hosted by a guy named Chris Kelly) and made at the time of the making of "Little Lord Fauntleroy" (1980).

Again, this was screened way before I had a VCR, but who knows, maybe someone, somewhere, has a copy on tape. If so, I'd really be interested in a copy of this one, also.

I'd appreciate any help in my search to find the lost interviews.
