On one episode he had that awful hair with the receding hairline and in the other episode, he was bald by then, am I right? Could it be then that they had a hairpiece on him when he played Thelma's boyfriend so he could appear "older"?

I think that probably was a hairpiece because he was completely bald on the Jeffersons too.

By the way, Tamu (as she was listed) played one of the daughters in the movie "Claudine" with Diahann Carroll. Tamu played "Charlene" the daughter who becomes pregnant. This movie "Claudine" also was mentioned in the 2 part episode when JJ joins the gang and gets shot. Thelma tells her parents they should go see the movie "Claudine".

Sherry Himpell from Whats Happening she wass good as Rozzie when she guest starded i always was big fan of hers.i would like see her come back once r twice.
