View Full Version : Dammit or Damnit
Johnny Five 08-07-2005, 07:56 PM How do you spell it?
I don't know if I'm allowed to make a topic like this, but this is a PG-13 site and in PG movies people say dammit all the time, so whatever.
*MIBabe03* 08-07-2005, 08:00 PM Damn It. Two seperate words.
Johnny Five 08-07-2005, 08:01 PM Obviously, I spell it the first way. If you spell it the second way people think you're saying "damn nit". It just leads to a whole lot of confusion. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Of course!
Dammit, should have put that in the poll too.
Hollow 08-07-2005, 08:03 PM who the hell would say dammit. the phrase, spelled correctly, is "damn it", and is put together as one word (damnit). wherever people get the idea that they need to drop the 'n' and add an extra 'm', i don't know.
Titania 08-07-2005, 08:10 PM damnit.
PZelda 08-07-2005, 08:25 PM All of the above. DAMNIT!
