I don't understand why any network has shown desire to bring back Facts of Life!!!!! I wish wish wish that some network would realise whats in front of their face which is that Facts of Life has not been airing for 3 years and if they would put it back it would make thousands of fol fans VERY happy! Just take a look at the Facts of Life forum and you'll see how many people want to see the show again! 3 years is long enough! It's time to air it again.

You don't want it on DVD, so why should you care if FOL ever gets shown again?
Some people also like to see it on TV

Where does he/she ever say he/she doesn't want it on DVD?

I don't think he said he DOESN'T want it on DVD, just that he didn't think we'd ever get DVD's of the show. However, I believe Pav that we should be seeing some FOL sometime in the not too distant future.
But give me DVD's over syndication anyday. I'd much rather pay for the DVD's than have awful taped episodes. I taped some episodes from N@N in 2001 and I must say that they certainly aren't DVD quality, and they were edited to such an extent the episodes averaged clocking in at 19-20 minutes. Plus, unless you're Roseanne or The Cosby Show and are on multiple channels, you're hardly going to find something that airs at a timeslot convienient to all. Some people want their reruns in the morning before school, some want them in the afternoon, some prefer them at night, etc... with DVD you can resolve the problems and watch it whenever you please.

Hi - I'm new here. I don't get it either. It's not usually when a TV Show takes a 3 year break! I think it's about time to air it again. Maybe we'll see it sometime on TVLand in the future :)

I know what you mean. I taped some FOL episodes on a tape that also had the original Superman movie
from 1978 that I taped from AMC(Before it went commercial). Anyway, I taped the episodes without opening
or closing sequences, and a couple of first season episodes clocked in at a mere 19:45!

Maybe he talked about it in a different thread, but that first message makes no mention of a DVD.
