It's hard to pick a top 5, there are so many good episodes. In The Soup is a memorable episode, but I think there are other ones that are funnier. The funniest episodes are usually the ones where Beaver messes something up at home. Like the time he let the bathtub water run over, or when he and Richard did the laundry and he put too much soap in the washer and the soapy water overflowed and ran all over the floor. Ward's Baseball is another good one, The Pipe and Beaver Takes A Drive are good ones too.

One of the funniest scenes in the series takes place in the episode- Beaver's Library Book. Wally comes home and Eddie is with him. Eddie shuts the front door with a SLAM. June comes in from the kitchen and thinks Wally slammed the door. She scolds him. Eddie walks over and says- "I don't think he did it intentionally, Mrs. Cleaver." :lol:

Another good one is- The Spot Removers. Richard accidentally spills ink on Wally's suit jacket, he and the Beaver try to remove the stain with bleach. The bleach takes the ink stain out alright, along with the original color of the fabric and they are left with a big, white splotch on Wally's jacket! :lol:

I believe this is one of the few episodes where Eddie is actually nice to the Beaver. If I have it right, Eddie walks in on Richard and Beaver and discovers what has happened to Wally's jacket. When Wally walks in, Eddie covers for Beaver and talks Wally into wearing other clothes to the party. I don't recall how this episode gets resolved, I have to watch it again and refresh my memory.

The other episode where Eddie is nice and let's Beaver see his true self is in the episode where Eddie spends the night. It's right after they wash the dishes and Eddie tells Beaver how he doesn't like to be alone because he can't be a character(or something along those lines)

Definitely more than five, but here are my favorites:

-Beaver gets a haircut

-Voodoo Curse

-painting the garage where little Benji Bellamy pours the can of paint all over himself.

-Beaver the Magician (Benji thinks Beaver has changed into a rock... boy they really tortured that poor little kid!)

-Beaver becomes self-conscious of his freckles after Lumpy teases him (the part where he rubs sandpaper on his face is hysterical!)

-Beaver Takes a Bath (always miss this one in the rerun cycles, loved how they tried to cover up the water spot on the ceiling with a blow dryer, only to have a chunk of the ceiling come crashing down on Ward and June!)

I like way more than five so I gotta think about this and come back.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned "Bank Account."

The boys withdraw money from their school bank account to buy Ward a new hunting jacket. When he learns the boys not only didn't make a deposit but made a withdrawal and left the school grounds, he becomes upset thinking
the boys spent their money on themselves for a baseball glove. Later that night, the hunting jacket is delivered in a box to the Cleaver house and Ward is shocked, stunned , and upset that he misjudged them.

WARD: "Boys, I thought you had squandered your money on something for yourselves..."

BEAVER: "No dad, we squandered it on you."
