Does anyone here have MSN? I used to have AOL, but I switched and know I don't know how to talk to my friends! It asks me for their e-mail addresses, but I only have their screenames; do I need their e-mail addresses? Or do they have to be MSN members? I am so confused! Please help me!

I use MSN instant messenger. Most of the time you can just add your friends' Hotmail or MSN.com email addresses so they can be added to your contact list. However, some other domains can be accepted. You can do one of two things: 1) Try adding their email accounts to see if it works, or 2) Ask them what their MSN user account is, if they have signed up for a specific one.

Sign onto your MSN instant messenger and go to Contacts > Add a Contact... > select one of the two options listed (either select from your existing address book, type in their address > click Next and follow directions as applicable.
