Has anyone ever created and/or written their own sitcom? I'm always coming up with new ideas and writing scripts. I'm working on one right now that's pretty interesting, I think.

A single-camera comedy that follows the goings-on inside a corrupt law firm where the boss is two-faced, his new partner’s spineless, and two wanna-be FBI agents are following close behind attempting to indict them both as a documentary company chronicles it all.

That's the logline. I figured, since we're all into sitcoms, I can't be the only one that creates his own.

Anyone want to share their ideas? I'm really interested to see what other people come up with.

I used to post a lot of sitcom ideas, but I've stopped recently. I plan on doing it professionally, so I don't want to let my ideas out on the internet where anybody can run and use them.

I plan on doing it professionally too. Sometimes I get a bit paranoid about people stealing my ideas, but I just make sure that I watch what site I'm posting them on.

in the mid-90's, I was joking with a friend (based on people we knew in the 9th grade) about coming up with a sitcom called "She's My Supermodel", where this nerdy guy teams up with a hideous girl, but however when he looks at her he sees a swimsuit model type. And then a few years later, they did that Shallow Hal movie, stealing my idea! LOL

I've had an idea for an animated sitcom for the past few years, but I've never gone any farther with it yet than fleshing out the concept and characters. Even though I intend to one day try to get it on the air, I usually only work with it a bit, leave it alone for weeks or maybe even months, then come back to it.
