I hated that episode... part of Sam Malone died that day. Dannie IsNotHere 08-06-2005, 09:17 PM That's quite depressing. I hated that episode... part of Sam Malone died that day. You don't know how glad I am to learn that I'm not the only one who thought that. It was horrible. Moondance 08-07-2005, 03:44 PM That's so sad. I remember that :( megamanj2004 08-07-2005, 09:29 PM Didn't Sam say that on August 6th,19something lol that he looked into the sink and his hair was there? :-) LOL We shall remeber this day, as the day Sam's hair fell out! It was August 6, 1989! Also, did you catch Friday's ep. of Cheers? Yes, the same one that had Pt. 2 of the series finale? TV Land used a pop-up fact box about Cheers that it mentioned that Ted Danson said "That for about six years, I didn't use a hairpiece. I combed over anyhting that I didn't have and/or color over it." slackermonkey 08-15-2005, 04:17 AM I thought it was funny. I appreciated the irony of such a narcissist like Sam, who loved his hair more than anything, wearing a piece for years. At least they waited until close to the end of the series before revealing it, otherwise it wouldn't have been as funny. barwars 08-15-2005, 10:09 AM I thought it was funny. And actually, it was the last episode produced. The series finale was filmed before several other episodes, because of Shelley Long's schedule. slackermonkey 08-16-2005, 03:47 PM Yeah, I remember reading that was the last produced episode because of Shelley Long's schedule, but the final scene of "One for the Road" was filmed the same night as "It's Lonely on the Top," but without an audience obviously. megamanj2004 08-17-2005, 04:33 PM I thought it was funny. And two, if you've watched the series 200th ep., look very closely and you can see a few shots of that big bald spot in the back of Sam's (Ted Danson's) head. BTW, can anyone post a few snippets of what his hair (or hairpiece) went through over the years, b/c to me, he didn't always wear the piece? slackermonkey 08-17-2005, 06:36 PM Well yeah, I didn't say he always wore it, I said he wore it for years. About four years, to be exact. LOL. Ha ha. You and I were having this mourning thing going on all night about Sam's hair. It was really kind of sad, but also insane and stupid. LOL. Jessica |
