Mascot head missing from Chuck E. Cheese
A man went into a storage closet last week at the Chuck E. Cheese pizza restaurant and took the mouse mascot costume head, putting it on to display to a woman and four children who were with him.
Police said the man became threatening and abusive to employees who asked him to put the costume head back. Stopped by police outside the restaurant at 1431 22nd St., the man became upset and belligerent when he was told the restaurant management did not want him to return to the business. Police subdued the 22-year-old man when be began screaming threats and obscenities, officers said.
The man was charged with two counts of simple assault, interfering with officers, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
